2017 marked the 10th year anniversary of Infozone in Sweden and here is the story of how we got started in the US.
Since the start, Infozone has opened offices in several locations in Sweden such as Stockholm, Gävle, Norrköping, Malmö, and Örebro. We also expanded the business abroad and started Infozone services in the USA with Microsoft SharePoint solutions to Skanska.
The US entity, Infozone Intelligence LLC, was founded in 2013 when Fredrik Ehnö decided to expand the Business Intelligence focused services together with Phil Bishop, who has an expertise in Pharmaceutical Industry. Fredrik and Phil have a long history together. Phil was the first employee at Qlik in the US in 1997, and Fredrik joined Qlik a few years later and learned QlikView from Phil in New York. After working in the BI industry for more than a decade, they realized they wanted to establish a consulting service company which prioritizes customer satisfaction. Shortly after, Shima Auzins also joined the company, who was also a long-time employee at Qlik and learned QlikView from Fredrik in 2002. Shima’s focus was to establish services using Corporate Dashboard Design techniques.
Having the long-time history with each other through Qlik’s products, it was natural for three of them to work for the same company again and create the customer-focused service organization. Currently, Infozone Intelligence has offices in the greater New York area and Chicago.
At Infozone, we continuously work to expand and evolve our business to cater to the demands of the market. We follow the trends and want to be at the forefront of the requests from our clients. The skill and clarity that comes when one chooses to focus on building a company where people want to work have made it easier for Infozone to grow together with our employees. We continuously evolve, and today we possess expertise in Systems Development, Managed Services, and Business Intelligence.

Infozone was founded in 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden by two men with a clear picture of what they wanted for their new company. They wanted to build an organization focused on expertise and inclusion. From day one, they’ve worked hard to create a company that values all of its employees, so people enjoy coming to work each day. Every employee continually helps to shape Infozone. In just two years, we grew so much that we moved into our own facilities in the heart of Stockholm in 2009.

Is there an alternative to having fun at work? Not for us, we work hard and at times it´s challenging, but we do care about each other and enjoy working together.
